Warm up in winter at Gero Onsen
Located in Gifu Prefecture, Gero Onsen, also known as the “Spring of Beauty,” is one of the three most famous hot springs in Japan. Here you can enjoy the atmosphere of the hot spring town in harmony with the bustle of the neighboring mountain village, where hot spring lovers gather from near and far.
Enjoy the sights of the town and countryside in any of three public outdoor baths. There are many free hot spring foot baths scattered about the town for those looking to take a break from strolling to soak up the atmosphere.
The Yu-meguri Tegata is a ticket in the form of a traditional woodcut print that allows entry into your choice of any three hot springs in town. You can buy it at participating stores in the village.
How to get there
