How to Get There
Kirin Brewery Yokohama is easily accessible by train from Yokohama and Tokyo.
The brewery is a 10-minute walk from Namamugi Station on the Keikyu Main Line, which is eight minutes from Yokohama Station or about 25 minutes from Shinagawa Station.
Enjoy the facilities for beer lovers
The brewery features a biotope, factory tours, and an interactive research space called Nomimono Lab, where you can learn about packaging and the different ingredients used in brewing. The Kirin Factory Shop has a range of exclusive factory tour goods.
Learn about the process behind the beer
The main tour provides a rare opportunity to visit the factory and get an in-depth insight into the beer brewing process. At the end of the tour you can enjoy a tasting of the Kirin Ichiban Shibori draft beer series. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is priced at 500 yen (tax included) for those aged 20 and over, and must be booked online in advance.
