The Museum, Archaeological Institute of Kashihara, Nara Prefecture 奈良県立橿原考古学研究所附属博物館

The Archaeological Institute of Kashihara holds a number of important treasures from excavations throughout Nara Prefecture . With exhibits ranging from the Late Stone Age (approx. 40,000 B.C.–10,000 B.C.) to the Muromachi period (1336-1573), visit this museum for a comprehensive overview of Japan's archaeological history within a local context.

The museum is a five-minute walk from Unebigoryomae Station on the Kintetsu Line. From Kashiharajingu-mae Station, your walk will take you roughly 15-minutes.
