A park and so much more to explore
Away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo is Omiya Park. Home to a Japanese garden, plum forest, zoo, the Saitama Museum of History and Folklore and several sports facilities, Omiya Park is the perfect place to escape from the city.

How to Get There
From Omiya Station take the Tobu Urban Park line to Omiya-Koen Station. Omiya Park is within walking distance of Omiya-Koen Station.
Cherry blossom central
Omiya Park is especially popular during the cherry blossom viewing season in late March and early April. If you're visiting during that time, be sure to take a picnic with you and enjoy a truly Japanese experience.
Lots of fun to be had
In addition to the cherry blossoms, the park's other flora includes Japanese red pines, magnolia trees, and plum trees. Open space is abundant for picnics. The kids will enjoy several playground areas and the zoo's bird habitat.
One of Omiya Park's unique features is its cycling velodrome, which is used for professional cycling competitions. Other sports facilities include an old soccer stadium and a small baseball stadium.
