A space dedicated to the beauty of everyday life
The Suntory Museum of Art displays the best of Japanese art through stunning exhibitions of paintings, ceramics, lacquerware, glassware, dyeing and weaving. The basic concept here is what the museum calls "Art in Life." The museum is located within the Tokyo Midtown complex in Roppongi .

How to Get There
You can reach the museum by train or taxi.
Tokyo Midtown, where the museum is located, is directly connected to Roppongi Station on the Toei Oedo Line via Exit 8 and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line via an underground passage. It's also an approximately three-minute walk from exit 3 of Nogizaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line.

The philosophy of the gallery
The museum's message "Art revisited, beauty revealed", is to connect and open up the arts to help everyday people appreciate the artistic qualities of everyday life.
Since the museum is rather compact in size, it is possible to explore all of it in less than an hour. The space also houses a cafe and store on site.
